Celebrating 50 Years of Meeting the Moment
This milestone event will bring together supporters, partners, and community members for a memorable night featuring dinner, live music, inspiring client stories, awards recognizing community leaders, a keynote address, and opportunities to connect during a cocktail networking hour. Guests will also hear firsthand how legal aid changes lives and can participate in our Fund-A-Need to support critical services for low-income families across the MetroWest region. As we reflect on five decades of impact, we’ll also look ahead to the work still to be done—ensuring access to justice for generations to come.
Keynote Speaker Announced
Justice Serge Georges Jr., Associate Justice Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
We are honored to announce that Justice Serge Georges Jr. will deliver the keynote address at MetroWest Legal Services’ 50th Anniversary Gala. Justice Georges joined the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in 2020 after seven years on the Boston Municipal Court. A first-generation Haitian American and longtime legal educator, he has taught at Suffolk University Law School since 1999. His career reflects a deep commitment to justice, education, and community—making him a fitting voice as we celebrate five decades of protecting rights, improving lives, and meeting the moment.
