Free* Divorce Basics Training for Attorneys

MetroWest Legal Services is hosting a three-evening seminar designed to equip attorneys with the fundamental skills necessary to effectively represent divorce clients. This training seminar is for new attorneys who want to learn about divorce law OR experienced practitioners who want a refresher course OR those who want to add a new area of law to their practice.

Family Law judges and prominent local divorce attorneys will take you step by step through the divorce process. You will learn what statutes, rules and laws govern divorce proceedings. You will learn how to prepare, file and argue your complaint, motions, contempts, pre-trials and much, much more!

Please note that this training will be VIRTUAL on May 7th and IN PERSON at the TJX offices at 300 Value Way, Marlborough MA on May 9th and 16th.

*As the cost of the training, attendees are asked to commit to take on two pro bono cases from MWLS in the next year or participate in equivalent pro bono work.
